Default Do I only upload my site when it's fully seo'd?

Hi guys, I'm going to be working on some amazon affiliate sites. I've identified some niches. At the moment, I'm just going to get one done nicely, and then just rince and repeat.

I have a rough copy of this live, I haven't submitted it to google or any other search engines. I just have it up to test.

I haven't sorted out the on page seo either, basically, there's not much too the site at the moment.

Doest this matter? Am I only supposed to upload a site when it's fully optimized?

Does google even know it's there?

You should have most of the website SEO'd before you upload it. Then you should make minor tweaks as need be. You really won't need to submit to Google. Just use an indexing tool to get your website indexed in a couple hours.

Most importantly, just make sure you have your Title Tag, H1, H2 and % density for on page SEO.

Always do

One thing, however, I have a -9000 indent on my Sites title (keyphrase)

Is this ok with Google?

Yep, take care of this, and then publish it. The more time a page has to age, the better. (even if it is just a matter of days...you want to see a return quickly right...?)

It's an old trick to have header text, but you indent in off the page, so it's invisible. I'm using a header graphic instead.

It's great idea that we should upload the site in server after completed all SEO of the site. As SEO point of view all SEO should be done properly before going to live any site.

Hmmm, not entirely sure.

My guy feeling is it doesn't sound good, as SE's, such as Google, tend to focus on the first 60 characters when reading the title tag...

I'd recommend getting your keyword in the first 60 characters of your title tag - ideally at the beginning.

My general criteria is as follows:

1. 3-5% keyword density (keyword in first para.)
2. Keyword as H1 tag at top of article
3. Italics of keyword in article

No, it doesn't matter when you seo your site!

I have domains I let sit with the default WP theme, then I seo when I get time for the content. I never have a problem ranking in the SERPs later on when I have the time.

I install the basic WP theme just to get my domain noticed by Google, when I'm ready I build out the site + seo, might be a week later, might be 6 months, still doesn't matter.

80% of your effective SEO will occur off site, once your site is up.

It's on the page, at the beginning, it's just indented.

Why would you want to do that?

Are you stuffing keywords?
