1)Links:- Getting links from other pages is necessary to get the better ranking. 2)Anchor text:-Anchor text are the keyword which is used to link you.If you want to rank higher for any keyword,you should get links with that keyword as the anchor text. 3)Content:-Fresh and new content is loved by Google.So,unique and quality content must be there. 4)URL structure:-A well structured URL also helps.It is highly helpful if you have different categories of content. 5)Title of the page:-Intelligent use of the keyword in the title of the web pages pushes it high. 6)Broken links:-You must keep in mind that your site should not contain broken links. |

Links are the most important factor in the field of SEO, as they act like votes or references. When another page links to yours, search engines recognize that page as referring to yours, giving you priority. This stresses the importance of getting links in other pages for better ranking. Twitter is very important too...even though they do not create do follow links they are still recognized by Google and create the buzz that boosts your page rank which I have personally seen in numerous websites I have maintained.

In additionally Internal linking, external links from authority sites make sense in PageRank.

| I guess it would depend. A clean and easily crawled URL structure can and does affect indexing and link-juice transfer. If you have deep-links to your site, then this could ultimately affect the PR of your TLD...theoretically.

Content is one of the biggest factors that affects the Google pagerank because the content of the site will define what your site is all about.

every time i read post in this forum my head starts to spin...the reason is what is fact about ranking and serp's on one side i hear that building quality back links is the only way to go up in the rankings.. then from another side i read where there is virtually no back linking but more or less "sniping" your way to the top. like i said one of these days my head is going to explode. thank for the post |

This thread just shows why I love Warrier Forum so much. I want all my competitors to come here to learn their SEO from you guys. PageRank is based totally on links. It has nothing to do with content, anchor text, page title etc. The ranking of a page has every thing to do with links, content, anchor text, page title etc. |
