Lords And Ladies Of The Kingdom Of Cyberspace: Please read this slowly and carefully and please do not guess at an answer. This is very important: If a person gets a duplicate content set of about 20 articles (like the ones you get in xxxxx and yyyyy) BUT only rewrites every sentence of the home page BUT on the other 19 pages only rewrites the first sentence of every paragraph, AND chooses different main keywords for each article than the other people who are getting the same articles, then wouldn't the "Google duplicate content filters" allow the pages to be found in the search results and not filtered out in any way since the pages are unique for the particular keyword that is calling up the pages to the search results? I am assuming that all other on page and off page SEO stuff is equal to other web sites who are competing for that particular keyword. Even though not all the content is rewritten and other pages can be found with much of the same content, the reason that Google does not use a content filter for this particular search result is that the content is still unique for the particular keyword that is calling up the content in response to a search engine search summons for a particular keyword...?....! Please tell me if in this scenario described above it is necessary to rewrite all 20 pages completely or if what I suggested in the first paragraph is enough? The King |

There should be experts on this forum who know the answer to this.

You say not to guess, but we dont have another choice than to guess here. The scenario you are postulating is indeed interesting (dupe content but targeting other keywords)...but to be honest i dont think Google can be fooled that easily. Once a content is indexed and attributed to ANOTHER site...i simply cant see you successfully ranking with it, even with other keywords. You can do some testing and report, but i personally wouldnt even bother witch such experiments. There is A LOT of threads about dupe content today on the forum, and it seems people still have big problems accepting the fact that you need new, unique and good content for a web site. (Like this isn't the OLDEST seo wisdom ever...) And to be honest, there is nothing wrong with this. Also..again returning to your question..if it were so easy...i dont see people doing it. I would just replace an article about "acne" and replace "acne" with "pimples"..and then rank for it? Seems surreal....if that works Google would need a lot home work to do |
