How to get Traffic (My big problem)

Hi all,

I'm trying to figure out the best/easiest ways to get traffic to my site(s). I know it's partly about SEO which I know a bit about but what other strategies should I use?

People say article marketing is good, back linking, ad swaps and the like but I really want know how all you big guys get the traffic to your sites.

Should I post in forums? A lot of forums don't allow links in posts or signatures so that can be difficult.

I look forward to hearing from anyone who can help with this and thanks in advance.

What is your niche? Forum marketing is simply a badass way to drive traffic to your site. When I first started I completely relied upon it before I started ranking in the search engines.

The great thing about Forum marketing is that you go out and find niche-related forums. So not only are you driving traffic, but you are driving targeted traffic which is the best kind.

Why do you think so many people here have something they are promoting in their sig line?

I agree. Getting traffic is usually the hardest part of the game. If you have traffic then the rest is pretty easy. Do the normal methods of building backlinks and seo. Niche forum posting is definitely a good thing IMO.

Build backlinks regularly with good quality backlinks and add fresh content to your site to get more traffic.
