Are you one of my competitors? If so, yes, it is dead. Article marketing as a whole is dead. So is backlinking. Don't do it! |

Love the sarcastic responses above... Of course ezinearticles.com is not dead! It has evolved, and in order to get maximum results out of it each marketer needs to adapt his or her strategy. I personally suggest using other blogging platforms (starting with Wordpress) and syndicating your content across a variety of blog networks. That is the key to success these days with article marketing. Note: This isn't the only idea that works, just mine! |

I wish EZA would reduce the number of ads they run on each page. Its starting to get a bit over the top.

looks like Ezine is being replaced by e-books, blogs, strategic email and other niche community sharing venues. Also, with the evolution of personalized experiences, it takes to long to weed through ezine content to see if it is relev ant to me.

Can you show us any proof that says "We don't use links as apart of our system to create importance of a page based on Page Rank?" If you show me that, I will be on your side, the process might take you forever to find because Google has never or will never say that. In fact, if you were around the old days of Google, you should know they have always said that linking is what gives you page rank value also known as showing importance and popularity of that specific page. That is one factor, not all of it... Sure, you should do all the principles of SEO. Articles, on site seo, off site seo, link building, etc. No, backlinks isn't dead nor is articles. | |
