Default Is Google hunting down and nullifying my backlinks?

Alright, I'm staring to think that big G is hunting down all backlinks that I've posted from my ip address and nullifying them.

For one, I submitted at least 50 backlinks to social bookmarking sites and not ONE shows up. I had a couple backlinks from Hubpages that showed up for 2 days then disappeared.

The same with a few other blog comments, they were there for a couple days then disappeared.

I submitted to at least 30 article directories and no backlinks at all, not one.

This was 8 days ago.

I did use Social Marker for bookmarking and after submitting about 30 links a page popped up from Goog that said that it looked like I might be using automation or something like that and asked me to enter captcha.

When I tried to login to Yahoo soon after I got a strange page also. I can't remember exactly what it said but it was something regarding an issue with my network or service provider and to try again later.

Can anyone tell me what is going on and what I should do?

Thanks

Try to be patient as it can take time for those backlinks to show up. Did your articles get accepted and did you ping the newly added backlinks?

Just so you know, bookmarking links and article links doesn't show up. Also I would switch bookmarking software. It's obvious it is causing the problems.

It takes time to get backlinks to show up. It isn't something that happens overnight.

Also, as far as those backlinks go. There is NO search engine that will list all of your backlinks either. Doing so would simply give others a blueprint to page 1.

You could try a place like backlinkswatch.com to check, but they won't show or see everything either.

If you think that your IP address is the problem, I suggest using a new IP address each time you submit.

To do this, take the following steps:

Step 1 - Go to your start menu and type in, "cmd.exe"

Step 2 - Type in "ipconfig/release"

Step 3 - Wait a few seconds, until you see a message showing that the network is unavailable, and then type, "ipconfig/renew"

Now you should see that a new IP address has been assigned.

However, if you are like me and have a modem which also doubles as a wireless router, these steps probably will not work. What will work is if you simple reboot the modem/wireless router by unplugging the power supply and then reconnecting the power supply to the modem/wireless router. Once it powers back up, you will be assigned a new IP address.

OP, your being paranoid.

I bet your running some seo plugins on Firefox, sounds like your running SeoQuake?

Yahoo & Google both start trippin when you run automated plugins & software. Not a big deal, just clear your history & reset your modem.
