Google Rankings Odd Behaviour?

Hello Warriors,

A month ago I've started a website, with all the SEO optimization in it.

There was an 8 pages competition for exact and around 250 000 broad.

But anyway I've created the initial page, and submitted 2 articles for ezine.

After a week when my ezine went live I was 1# in google for exact and 3# for broad.

But in these 3 weeks that followed. I've managed to bring like 30 more backlinks at least from various websites, like yahoo answers and blog commenting with both no follow and do follows. I've managed to create several other articles and posted them on many other articles directories , about 5.

I've also added 4 more articles to my website. I've pingomatic all the articles from articles directories and pinged all my main website articles. I've also registered all of them in traffic-bug, a powerful tool for automatic bookmarking and rss submission.

I've done all of these almost daily, each day 1-5 links but all I could see was that I lose rank gradually.

On exact now there are 62 pages competition and most first 15 results all link to my website, but on exact my website is on 7# and on broad I'm on 24. I was on 12# a week ago.

I mean I've done everything right. Not to mention all the other blogs I have linking with posterous and twitter and my facebook page. It's all there, why I'm not on the first spot on such a simple niche. The first 2 spots on broad are 2 articles from a PR 4 website which has just the keywords spread around the article, not even in exact order. How can it even rank higher than me? I mean I have a website with the keyword in my name.....

I don't get it

Thank you and like everytime any idea will be very appreciated. I've started internet marketing 80 days ago and I haven't seen a sale yet. Still hopping to see one soon.

My advice to you is have a long term plan and don't just focus on one key phrase. Often ranking can take longer than expected, and NOBODY can guarantee anything despite what some may say. Above all, make sure your valuable work is worthwhile by having a site that people love once they arrive.

Thank you, I'll keep that in mind. I'm struggling with anything long term. I want the instant gratification, but anyway I'm very determined not to give up, it's actually my only shot of doing something.
