Default Did I just find a Golden Nugget?

I was on the google keyword tool trying to find some low competition, high monthly searches and I came across a very interesting keyword

This keyword receives 6600 EXACT Searches monthly, and has 0 COMPETITION.
That's right ZERO COMPETITION.

My question to you - Does google screw up sometimes, is there a chance this keyword actually receives no traffic??

I don't want to waste money and time to find out in the end if this keyword is a dud.

Any help is appreciated,

Thanks

So, when you search, you get zero results?

Did you check the PBR to make sure it's actually being searched in the way your checking it? I've had some great keyword phrases showing 1000's of searches with low competition only to find out they had a PBR of like 4%.

make sure it is a term you can minimize one way or another too.

Sounds like a good gamble. Go for it, and see how it works. You won't retire over it, but if the numbers are accurate, you could create a good residual income. The Keyword tool is usually pretty accruate these days, but the only way to know for sure is to go for it!

How do you go about checking PBR?

I've used Market Samurai in the past but it hasn't been working correctly for me lately.

When I search the keyword with "example" I get ZERO Results, without I get around 1100.

Just the Main keyword itself gets like 4 million searches.

That's almost unheard of... Unless it is a long long long-tail keyword...
The Google Adwords Keyword Tool is not 100%... Not even close. And it never will be b/c search trends change like Missouri weather (very quickly w/o warning). Other than that, the Google Keyword Tool is a very good tool to use as the basis for your keyword/competition research.

When doing your Keyword research you should be looking at [Exact] Local Monthly searches... You care about Google.com right?! Not the other Google's.

Good find. Just role with it and see where it takes you!

CHEERS!

HAHA True that about the weather.. enjoy the snow friday? What about the 60 degree weather yesterday, and then being hit by tornadoes last night? LOL.

There are keywords out there like that. I JUST found one that gets about 50,000 searches with very very very low competition.

Should I be looking at local monthly searches or global monthly searches? I have always used global and "english"

I do not think the competition is zero..it can't be, unless it is a weird and long long keyword which is hard to think of and the one which is hard to think of shall not have a higher search volume!

This weather has been STUPID! Shorts one day, bundled the next, and tornadoes and hail the next, shorts the next bundled the next, tornadoes and hail the next!! That's the last two weeks in a nutshell LMFAO!!

You want to look at LOCAL MONTHLY EXACT SEARCHES

Local = United States (google.com)
Gloabal = Global (google.co.uk.au.fr.ru.jp.etc)

P.s. Forgot to mention: Local = YOUR local region so if your in Canada and using the Adwords tool, Local will mean Canadian searches. Etc. Google defaults the results to you country of origin (IP address)
