Can you point me in the write direction: Getting indexed?

Hi guys,

Whats the best strategy for getting all my new blog posts to be indexed by google?

At the moment I only have 22, but as I have loads of new guest writers this will be in excess of 100 per week very shortly.

Can you suggest any, services, ebooks, reports, plugins or anything else that I should be looking at using right now to prepare for this flurry of posts?

The site in question is Healthy Happier You! | when all you need is answers

All help and advice will be very much appreciated!

There are new plugins and softwares released every day to assist with that, but imho all you really need are the following:

1. Pinged RSS feed.
2. Social bookmarks
3. XML sitemap

The more frequent the updates, the more spiderlove your site is going to get and the faster your pages will be indexed as your site builds authority.

P.S: How do I sign up as a guest author?

At the moment we are only taking submission from UK authors - thats kinda our angle at the moment

With regards to pinging. I believe that WP does this for me automatically - is that true?

Well, I'm not based in the UK... but technically I'm not really based anywhere else either. I'm a glorified internet marketing bum

As for pinging, you have to set it up in your WP config, ideally you'll want to upload an up-to-date list of the most popular ping directories since WP only offers one out of the box. You can find such a list on the forum easily by using the search feature.

Here are just a few of the plugins I use on my sites and all of them are normally indexed within the hour or 2 of new posts.

Max blog press ping optimizer with a list of about 200-300 rss sites.
Google xml sitemaps
Onlywire auto poster

Then also make sure to create an account at google webmasters tools. With in the webmasters tools change your crawl rate to what you would like it to be and do not let google decide this for you from the start. I typically move the slider about an inch or so from the right hand side and it works well for me.

You may also want to get the upgraded version of onlywire autoposter. This way you do not go over your 300 post limit. Plus you can opt to have them fill in all the catchas for you so you do not have to worry about it when new post become live.

Thats pretty much all I do to get my sites indexed lighting fast and once you have everything set up properly it will continue to get indexed in no time with no extra effort on your part.

I am now getting crawled within an hour of new posts and the homepage is getting reindexed and the new post gets indexed too
