Default Long tail key words and building backlinks

Just wondering about the practicality of building back links with a long tail key word. Hypothetically say my key words were "wooden dog kennel costs"
anyone forseee difficulty building back links.. Just occurs to me that such a long anchor text is more likely to be viewed as spam.. Any thoughts?

You get better back link by just bookmarking your site over high PR social bookmarking sites without changing your niche keyword.

You'll have no problems at all backlinking a term like that.

Some article directories wont let you have anchor text over three words. But all the other sources I know of for backlinks you will be good to go.
