Hi, I have been submitting article for my site. But I haven't get any traffic for my sites. I recent times I read that article submission is dead? So what else I can do to boost the site traffic.

Article marketing will never be dead. It's a great source to get traffic. Before you submit an article try to find good keywords with low competition and also a search volume of 50-200 each month.

I'll do this and am very satiesfied. Use Ezinearticles also, a backlink from there will help your site rank well in google.

Never post your article to more than ONE article directory each time. If you post your article to lets say 10 different article directories google will see this duplicate content and your website will be punished.

Write high quality articles

Article submission is not dead, you just have to work harder. If the traffic to article directory is less by 50%, you have to submit twice as many articles. If a directory is gone down to 10%, you need to submit 100 insted of 10 for the same results.

Are you posting the same articles on various directories? The common visitors of some directories being disappointed when they see the same one on each directories. So better to spin or re-write them before submitting and post frequently new articles with relevant info.

Wow article sub is dead. Me thinks not. Article submission if done right and on a regular basis brings in far more traffic than you can imagine. Firstly yes sometimes you only get a trickle of clicks to your site from the article it's self. But the value it adds to your websites PR and search engine visibility for the articles niche is massive. And this is where the traffic will come flooding from eventually, the search engines. Article submission is not dead of course. Have your target keyword put in the Title and at leas 2 keywords in your content. Write great articles. I've done article submission in a few months away and it ranked already which is currently in pr10.
