i need some tips. Im using this list Best Article Directories | Top Article Directory List| Free Article Directorys | Articles Submissions im aiming for low competitive keywords and i aim for 5 different revelant keywords. Its for promoting review articles on google, i mean increasing its serp. Can article marketing increase your serp? I have submitted to some of them and since then my review article has moved from 48 to 41. I choose 5 keywords because some directories allow 5 links on the article. Should i spread the 5 different ones in the same article or i shud repeat to give juice? Please help. I think the only seo techniques i really use at the moment are blog commenting and article marketing so im a newbie but i dont feel like creating social bookmarking and forum profiles if its for reviews articles but i would consider it for my main site. To How Much Directories Do You Suggest? |

That being said, the main benefit of article marketing is getting those articles syndicated on a relevant site. Submit to as many sites as you want.... the more the merrier

I think you should change the focus of your article marketing a bit. It is much more worthwhile to write your articles not for the search engines, but instead for webmasters. There are webmasters that go to ezine and other directories specifically to find content to syndicate on their site. The backlinks you get from these sites are likely going to be much more powerful than the ones you get from the directories themselves. Not to mention, you may get some targeted traffic from these sites, and isn't that the whole point of doing SEO - to get targeted traffic. Writing articles for webmasters means writing articles that are: 1) 800 - 1,500 words in length 2) Non-promotional 3) Not overly optimized (don't sacrifice quality to up your keyword density by .3%) |

Write nice quality articles on your topic. You don't have to rank the articles. The goal can be to get backlinks for your websites. Yes it can and should increase your SERPS because you are getting more backlinks. If you are allowed 5 links at one article directory as you state above, then put your most important URL link first. Then follow with 4 DIFFERENT ones. No sense linking to same place in the same article. (What directory allows 5 links?) For directories you can submit to just a few high quality ones or mass submit, it is up to you. Mix in some other links also. Contextual blog links, social bookmarking, etc.

Try this: Use the suggested keywords that EZ Articles provides and write a number of 300-400 word articles. Let me know what you think.

Keep your article's content informative as well as unique. Submit it to best one directories with major keywords. Do not stuff extra keywords in your article body that's the key to get best results from articles..

In article marketing, unique content is good, but remember that the power of your article will depend on its content. Write an article that will give new insights not only to the webmasters but for all the readers.

the site your linking to is mine and I've just updated it what i believe is important (besides doing the whole process focussed on quality and not so much on quantity) is to get links to your profile pages, we actually use about 120-150 article directories to submit, but these are the 50 that also give you a profile page, by pointing some links to your article profile pages you stand out from those hundreds of articles that don't get any links at all, a page with just 1 good link, versus those thousands of pages with no links at all, is really significant and although getting links to your profile pages, especially a lot of them is hard work, but the value remains and from then on, each and every time you submit a new article the value it gets will be significantly more.

You'll get much better results from article marketing if you don't worry at all about SEO. You never want an actual reader to find your article directory content on an article directory, so instead of wasting time optimizing articles juuuuuuust right, focus on creating something high quality that you think people will want to publish on their sites. I know this is counter intuitive to everything I'm assuming you've heard about article marketing...It is NOT an SEO technique, it's a traffic generation and authority building technique. You are submitting content to article directories strictly for the purpose of publishers seeing your content and republishing it on their own sites. If an actual reader sees those article directory articles, then you're losing money since they're much more likely to click on one of the many advertisements on the directory than on the link you provide in the article. 1. Write high quality content 2. Write a controversial title, or just something that stands out 3. Always have atleast 1 naked link, like http://mysite.com, in the resource box, since many times people strip hyperlinks out of stuff they republish and you still want to get that traffic. 4. When an article gets republished somewhere, offer the webmaster a chance at unique content in return for a link...Many times they'll be interested. 5. If you're lazy and want to get more 'juice' out of the content you already have, you can syndicate those article directory submissions even further by turning your articles into power point presentations, videos and pdf documents. I hope something in there helps! Kindly, - Stephen |
