One of the pages on my website is ranking #2 for a keyword. The question I have is: If I put a backlink on this page to another page on my site will this boost the ranking for the page I'm linking to? Also, do you think this will affect my ranking of the page I'm linking from in a negative way? The reason I ask this is because I heard that it's better to make a link "nofollow" if you're linking to an outside site so as not to give up any link juice. I just didn't know if any link juice would be given up if I linked within my site. Thanks P |

You should only link If the page your linking to is related. 1) PR2 (use keyword in anchor-text) pointing to new related page. 2) New PR0 has step-1 (above) keyword/anchor-text in both page-title & intext. |
