Are SEOLV & Articleranks still worth a crap after the new Google algo update?

My experience is yes, they are still getting some blog posts indexed, but are they helping my rankings I'm not sure. My site rankings in general have gone up since the end of February. But I've never used link farms, for low value link spamming (comment spam etc.)

I never had any luck with SEOlv but AR used to be quite good for me, I haven't used it much since the algo update but I'll definitely try it more soon. I personally do not think the google update will have impacted these services much, only articles from them that might of been ranking.
