|  Google Places question - disappearing listing
Hey Guys A very odd thing is happening for a Google places listing I'm working on. The company in question reached position E on page 1 around two weeks. Checking yesterday, it had disappeared. HOWEVER I suddenly realized it reappears (as position E) when the link 'More results near etc etc »' is clicked which drops down more results displaying listings A-J.  Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening? Many Thanks R |

I've seen this happen to. Not sure but I think you might be served results from different Google servers. In other words, the search engine position of the business might be updated on one of the servers but not on the other

I had a similarly wierd thing happen to one of my listings today as well. My listing was in the D spot on page one for weeks. Today it is bumped down to the 3rd page of Places results. However, all of the pages that were previously on the front page were all bumped down to the third page along with mine (still in the same order.)
