Default Why You Shouldn't Rely On Adsense

Don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Adsense is for petty cash only. Don't waste your time setting up huge websites and hoping to earn millions from Adsense.

One day Google will pull the pin and BANG - all that work gone in an instant.

Make sure you diversify as quickly as you can.

If I make money off adsense, I know advertisers are operating in the niche and maybe its profitable to push affiliate products or even create a new product.

Adsense is a great way of earning if only I knew all the SEO and effective marketing. Right now, I am still relying on adsense but I am also hoping that my earnings would increase since I was thinking that maybe it has something to do with the economic crisis. Anyway, thanks for sharing

The thing is they never tell you whats wrong they just cut you loose. It happened to me after two years and an average of $1000 a month.

Are you guys serious? There are several HUGE advantages to an adsense business:

1. Almost 100% profit margin (as opposed to PPC for a product).

2. A great way to get your feet wet with article marketing and SEO, which you can use in the future towards promoting your own products/affiliates.

3. Even if the money doesn't roll in, it helps to see at least some daily revenue. People lose steam without seeing (any) results for several days.

I wish I had started with Adsense first, as it would have taught me so much about IM that much faster with little to no risk.

If you focus on creating ORIGINAL content, and don't try and cheat the search engines (which get smarter all the time) you WILL see results.

It seems to me that most people who bag on Adsense aren't willing to put in the work, and opt for shortcuts which lead to losing their account.

When I started, I wanted to make $5 per day within a few weeks.

Stop and think how unrealistic that is. Brand new business with NO experience whatsoever, and I wanted $150 profit per month in passive income. While I realize this is very achievable, it is NOT for a newbie. You need to make mistakes, and learn along the way.

Its always true that you should never put all your eggs in one basket, adsense is ok if you can automate the site creation process.

Not saying don't use it - just saying - don't rely on it.

Get it working for you first - get to a few bucks a day -

THEN

Do something else and get that working for you - then go back to making more with Adsense.

Otherwise - you could be making $1000 a month like Captifreef - and then BANG - your gone.

I totally agree with you... Unless you have some stable sites with huge traffic, adsense is not your best friend.

I was making over $2 per click in the adjustable mortgage niche and was doing well with not much work, about an hour a day. Adsense can pay well but you never know when they decide they do not like your site.

Since i got banned i moved into clickbank stuff, i think it is going to be much better in the long run and is showing promise very early on for me.

Best part is that you do not have to worry to much about getting banned like you do at adsense.
