If you follow this chart, you will have a huge change in your SERPs. This isn't black hat, this is completely legit. You will notice great results. Go ahead and try it out and let me know your results. Every site I have done this on I have received first page results. Bad thing is, it can be quite time consuming.

Just the typical link pushing network. Tiered linking certainly works.

It looks complicated. Actually, it is more exhaustive than complicated. Does it work for High Competition keywords?

This is excellent. I have every intention of getting around to building link wheels like this, but when to find the time ... ![]() A comprehensive link wheel like this wouldn't be as necessary for a long tail keyword that already has top rankings, but could be good for much more traffic because so many more keywords can be targeted, I'd imagine. |

I personally would not utilize that for any site I cared about, there are serious modification that would be needed. But what do I know, I have only been an SEO for the last decade.... |

| So have I. What do you believe the problems are? Over 50 sites I have done this with, and no penalties, and none of them are lower than page one. Some of these have been standing strong for over a year.

So basically, you link from a circle of article directories to a circle of Web 2.0 sites which in turn point to your money site...not too complicated, but a TON of work...of course, IM is anyway.

The image is pretty complex, but thebitbotdotcom has summarized it well. And yeah, that one takes a lot of work, but I assume you could automate some parts of it |

I wish there was an effective way to automate this, I don't know anything right now. I also do about 5-10 blog comments pointing to each article. So that can be done semi-automatically. YES! You will get great results, not just increase in SERPs but quite a bit more traffic from these referring sites.

I think it works. It's just that you might want to outsource much of it or else you'll do nothing but write articles, submit them and create blogs.

| Right... If you were to outsource, I'd recommend outsourcing the first layer... then break up the other layers to outsource.

I think this is an example of multilevel linking and not the link wheel... I can't see any wheel created in this.. Can anyone clear my doubt?

it is multilevel linking indeed.. no wheel visible in the picture. I would cross link some nodes in the different levels to increase this to look 'natural' (how likely is it that within a niche.. the sites are linking in a nice tiered way?) since you are doing this manualy anyway I see no reason to not throw in the occasional link between tiers here and there.. |

Link wheel is really a great techniques for linkbuilding. But this process shows it very difficult to do this. I use hubpages, squidoo, tumbler, blogger, webly about eight 2.0 website for link wheel and it give great result.

I'd just take a hand full of PR6, aged, in context home page links and save all the hassle.

Long story short, you write one original unique article yourself, outsource setting up micro blogs and web 2.0 properties (the administrative side of it that is), submit highly spun or unique articles to Ezine and Squidoo (since they are the most strict), use spun articles for all the other sources (spin using Best Spinner or something similar), and then use Unique Article Wizard or something similar to submit to article directories (which gets you 500 - 1,000 backlinks to your micro-blogs and web 2.0 properties). Once everything is set up, writing original content and spinning it so that it makes sense is the only time consuming part. Actually rather easy.

| To directly answer your question, check out oDesk or vWorker. I just hired a guy in Indonesia to do stuff like this for me for $3/hour (off oDesk), so far so good! The only part you really need to do yourself is write original content, and if your niche isn't super competitive or your really comfortable with a writer, you could even outsource the writing of articles too.

This is really good technique to fallow but need lots of patience. Link wheeling is really good but time consuming and need lots of dedicated work for it.

Just one quick question, what is the "micro blog" portion as opposed to Web 2.0 properties?

I've started on this today. I'm doing it manually, 3 legs a day. There are only about 15 legs (I think) coming off the main site. Thanks to the IamNameless for sharing this. It helps to work off a real plan.
