Finally some progress!!!

My site has been flowing in Serps for weeks, usually between 12-14 page for my main keyword.
And now i got into page 11

i know it is not big progress, but still, this is my first site

Lets hope i keep rising!

this is getting to be my progress thread, lol...
ive been rising these days and i am now on 9th page...
and now i know what i must do to keep rising on serps....
so far i didnt do article submissions...last couple of days i did it and now i see results.
before submissions i mostly did blog commenting and it didnt help at all.

Blog commenting will help if you leave a worthwhile comment and get some high PR pages that aren't spammed to death.

There are quite a few things you can do, forums, profiles, blogs, linkwheels, directories, articles, press releases. Tons of stuff.

I don't mean to bring you bad news, but a huge jump like that could mean that your cookies are showing you on page 1 for Google in your browser because Google personalizes searches.

Try to clear your cookies and delete your history and see if you are still there.

Is it the website from your signature?

I created a website two days ago. The main page just got indexed this morning by Google and it is already on page #2 for the main keyword. The website is not yet finished so no off-site seo at all. Will see how it ranks after it is finished and I'll some backlinking.

yes, this is the site from my signature. and ive been dancing between 1st page and 10th, ill keep building links and i should stay on 1 spot soon...

but as i am ranked with lots of different keywords, most of my traffic comes from them.

Congrats! Its really great to hear of someone getting some success.

That said.... PLEASE: go to your site and spend an hour or two editing. You have a good bit of content that is packed with grammatical and spelling errors that are pretty glaring but easily fixed. I don't know if you used spinning software or outsourced the writing but it definitely needs some editing.

UPDATE: my site is in 1 page of google 3rd and 4th place for my main keyword...
and under the 4th place there is a thing: show more results from <<my site>>

usually it was buzzle's and that show more results

its going good.

im getting 80-90 visitors daily.

i will update soon when i hit that 100 visitors mark.

1 thing what i can share with you: So far the only thing that is working for me is submitting articles to article directories. after starting to do this i saw major results. i didnt see no progress when i did blog commenting. No progress at all.
I did some directory submission as well. Very few.
And like you see my site isnt a micro-niche site where there is mainly 1 or 2 keywords. im ranking with more than 20 relevant keywords and all are in 1st or 2nd page mostly.
Soon im going to add more articles + more keywords to rank with.
Google will see the relevancy of my site, i hope this

Just keep pluggin away at getting traffic like you have been. You've had some awesome results so far.

Whilst you're doing that, take a look at your site through your visitors eyes, and see what YOU would improve upon. Test and track different layouts.

What sales are you after? I can't see a call to action on your page?

I'm not an expert, but I just looked at the affiliate resources page for IllusionMage, and there's a ton of stuff there! Considering you are trying to promote a graphics package, you don't have 1 single graphic image of the software you're trying to sell.

Maybe create a page on your site dedicated to the software, include images, perhaps use one of their articles and a review (if you're allowed to edit them, even better to make it your own). Then, instead of linking directly to the sales page, link all your internal links to your dedicated page. This way, you're building targeted page rank for the page, and you can pre-sell it more.

Just a suggestion.

Good work Vapsjee.. I just checked where your backlinks are coming from and I see there are quite a few from various squidoo lenses. I then noticed that a lot of those links are Plexo links. I have not tried Plexo on lenses before, I am intrigued by it though and will probably try experimenting with it myself.

I'm not an expert, but I just looked at the affiliate resources page for IllusionMage, and there's a ton of stuff there! Considering you are trying to promote a graphics package, you don't have 1 single graphic image of the software you're trying to sell. Maybe create a page on your site dedicated to the software, include images, perhaps use one of their articles and a review (if you're allowed to edit them, even better to make it your own). Then, instead of linking directly to the sales page, link all your internal links to your dedicated page. This way, you're building targeted page rank for the page, and you can pre-sell it more. Just a suggestion.
