I will like to be advised on the best ways to be building backlinks to ones sites from now on, in getting traffic, due to the latest Google's Algorithm changes?

Getting backlinks is stil pretty much the same as before although there are some slight changes, i would focus more on getting links from high authority sites as these are the ones google are most interested in

try and build links from various sources. Diversify your link building so that it looks normal.

I totally agree with you. I think nothing have really changeg, or nothing drasticall enough to call for a change in the way you do your backlinkings. Just do it the same way you used to do it.

It is important to theme your link building and diversify your link profile to ensure it isn't all from one type of website e.g. directories, comment links, footer links and so on.

Mix it up with different anchor text, source from a wide array of domains and don't worry about the occasional 'no-follow' link, these add to the natural appearance of your link profile.

yes i would agree diversify your backlinks.. blog comments, article directories, web 2.0, directories, if you need powerfull backlinks get some .edu and .gov links these are very powerful.

even the .edu and .gov depend on where they come from, they are more important then the normal .com but because of the apearence of .edu blogs google lowerd the importance.
Forum profiles blasts have much less importance now.
Overall backlink number on the site is more important now.
Geting unique content on the site is crucial now.
The coding of the site should be clean (not actually a must)
Web 2.0`s tend to go higher in the serps.
High PR backlinks are crucial in a backlinking campaign.

I would also echo what others have said and state that a diverse range of backlinks is really important. For one, relying on one type of source (e.g. article marketing) means that you are vulnerable to certain Google shifts.

But I'd also spend my time on more time intensive backlinking efforts like guest posting mixed up with the others. Yeah it takes more effort, but these are powerful backlinks when you go about it the right way.

Here's the bottom line...

As time goes on... Google will be getting tougher and tougher on link spam.

Just build a real business, got real MEANINGFUL links from other webmasters... and you'll be fine regardless of what "algorithm changes" Google makes.
