Nofollow EdU links are they powerful ??

There are serveral WSO in the forum and i was wondering,they say that even nofollow EdU links are powerful.

Is it useful to get Edu nofollow links back to my related niche.

An example from a WSO
[I will create 70 Edu/Gov forum profile backlinks for you. I can't guarantee that all links will be dofollow, but even nofollow still are very powerful backlinks.]

They're definitely not worthless, so they will help, as every backlink helps, but they're obviously not as powerful as dofollow edu links.

Before everyone comes in here saying nofollow is worthless and blah blah blah. I'd like to point out that the only thing that has really officially been said is that they don't pass page rank. I don't even know for a fact if that is true.

If it is true... it is no different than getting thousands of dofollow profile links, each page has no PR anyway, so if the nofollow links still count but don't pass pagerank it is essentially the same.

I was going to say the same thing, but figured people will probably just read the thread title and immediately come in with 'nofollow is worthless...' stuff anyway.

LOL, yeah it is bound to happen. I really don't care anymore, leave the links for me. There are a couple nofollow blogs that doesn't get many links but the traffic is big. I get massive traffic from it, so even if it were worthless in SERPs, I make money off it, so thats fine!

A link is a link is a link. As long as it doesn't cost you an impractical amount of time or money to get it, why not?

I would like to add that I would never pay for the links mentioned in the WSO posted in the OP.

just evaluate whether the link juice or the traffic potential is worth the backlink trouble.

darn i have passes up on so many high PR nofollow links to! as a rule of thumb i'll take any high pr links i can get now lol
