Hey guys, Yesterday, I was doing some research for a new domain for one of my products. While doing the research, I came across 4 domains with exact keyword term in them that get 1,000,000 searches a month on Google. This is a very popular niche. The search for this term in Google in quotes, reveals a little over 5,000 competing pages. Edit: There are CPA offers available for this term. (End Edit) Since I mostly do my own product marketing and barely any affiliate, CPA type of marketing, I'm not a very big expert in it. Therefore, I would greatly appreciate any advice I could do to make money with those domains. Now, I know this sounds counter intuitive, because I know that in order to make money, you gotta do the work. Nothing comes easy in this business. However, since I'm already booked with everything that I'm doing in my business, I don't have a lot of time to devote to these domains. I know that in the past, people were able to cloak/301 redirect the domain for a CPA offer and be done with it making money. Does this still work with all of the Google slaps, farmer updates, etc.? So, my question is: If I can get those domains on the first page of Google for those search terms with 1,000,000 searches/mo, what do you suggest I do to monetize the domains? Prize for the winner: The person with the best answer and best step-by-step walk through will get $10 into their paypal account from me. Thanks. This little contest will end on Friday, March 18, 2011. Plus, you'll be helping a lot of people on the WF with your answers. Thank YOU! Peter |

I'd create content sites around the keyword. It depends what they're about before anyone can think of monetization methods ! |

Not playing for prize. Just my suggestions 1- Create niche sites and monetize using Adsense, Amazon and content locking 2- Sell it off after getting top rank 3- Flip it right after registering at flippa 4- Promote clickbank product 5- Make niche sites and promote cpa offers through banners 6- Keep the domains and do nothing. Wait for some good offer to arrive and sell the domain off. 7- Make them review sites for Amazon products 8- Post some articles on them, and use them for backlinking to your current same niche sites(if you have) |

Search for products on google, see if they have an affiliate program. Then promote the product on the website, with some CPA adds on it.

To be honest, i am puzzled because i see two things which are odd to me: 1) You buy domains where you dont know how to monetize 2) You think about ranking to #1 but dont know how to monetize It's like..internet marketing backwards.... ![]() Of course, there is no way to tell you since i dont know the keywords, therefore i dont know whether CPA or aff programs exist nor whether the domain/keywords would be good for adsense. You need to do the research and see what that keyword offers |

Thanks for the reply George. Yes, there are CPA offers for that market. It's a very popular niche which almost everyone in the world deals with at some point. I usually don't do it but since it was $8 for the domain, I said what the heck. That's why I'm here on the WF asking you guys for some help. Thanks. Peter Quote:

Check it in exact to have a more accurate idea of how many searches you really have. Not trying to kill your excitement, rather help you avoid the disappointment of spending time and money ranking a site and expecting a million visits, only to find out there really isn't much traffic for that keyword. You could still have a winner. Exact match is the way to determine though. Aaron | |

Thanks for the heads up Aaron. Yeah, I totally understand and i know exactly where you are coming from. I did the exact search for that term and it is still getting really nice traffic. Plus, I know that if the term gets a million searches and I end up on the 1st spot for that term, I still won't get million clicks to my site. I think it's only about 30% or so of that anyway. it's all numbers game. Peter Quote:

Let me get straight to the point: 1. buy those domains (or one that's most related to the search volume keyword) and install WP on it 2. build autoblog for the content generation while you're focusing to the main keywords and build backlinks to it (don't forget to use wordpress and buy uniquefier wordpress plugin to make the content looks original in the eyes of search engine (wp robot or autoblogged or any autoblogging software/script) 3. for the monetization of that autoblog is your cpa or build your list, up to you 4. make the main page static page, the backlinks you build will come to this page, highly on page optimization required (I suggest you to buy SEO pressor, it's like you have your own ON PAGE SEO specialist helping you all the time on how to do on page optimization! it rocks!) 5. If you don't know how to build backlink, I think you can browse a lil to WSO and war room , lots of it out there that's great content. (if you want to also automate the backlink building, then you can sign up with neurolinker.com, I think it's good) 6. Get your result by ranking high on SE and start getting targeted traffic and good revenue. As you see traffic and revenue coming in, you can sell this site for 12x of your website monthly earning in flippa. IMHO That's short and sweet guide I think. Right from where to start until the exit point of the website to get the highest revenue. |

Suggestion 1. Purchase all the domain names, then you can disclose them and you'll get better advice.Look at some of the domains in my signature. It would be insane to use the same strategies to promote all of them.

| Content Management System Wordpress, Normal HTML site, or Forum. Content To build large amounts of links I use WF article writers that have good project management systems on their business websites. This way I can buy large amounts of unique content without the hassle of constantly private messaging for different articles. Link-Building This is where you would outsource your SEO. You could outsource profile backlinks, blog commenting, yahoo answer links, or even blog guest posting (best). There are many qualified vendors here on the WF. Monetization Forum: With a forum you would be able to sell ad-space or integrate adsense into your website. Another possibility is selling access to exclusive content. Blog: Many possibilities. You could write or outsource review posts about products from different merchants (clickbank, amazon, a particular item (like a specific camera). Another possibility if your targeted to a buying keyword for a physical product (book, camera, phone etc.) is to use widgets that advertise products being sold on ebay, amazon or other major retailers, you would get a referral commission. If your content is really valuable and your niche hot, you could try CPA content-locking. Two networks that I know of specialize in this: Leadbolt and CPALead. HTML website: A plain old HTML site isn't that interesting but it could do. You can use all of the methods decribed above: content-locking, adsense, product reviews, widgets. Other: If it's in a niche where you can outsource the task, you can create a white-label site. What would happen is prospects would purchase a service through your site, say link-building. Then the details would go straight to a third-party company that could fufill the order. In other words the middle-man strategy. Well I hope this helped you. I need to get back to using market samurai and senuke. |

Awesome, I just purchased a keyphrase that gets over 1,800,000 global and 300,000 local searches on google. I setup wordpress and I only posted one blog post so far. Now I'm on page 11 of the SERPS within like two weeks. Once I get it too the top of the serps which shouldn't be tool long. How much do you think this domain will be worth. Also, how much do you think I could make with google adsense or bidvertiser if I was getting that much traffic to the domain montly? Any estimates? Thanks alot! |
