Market Samurai ... what is it, current opinions?

Hello,

I caught a glimpse of something called "Market Samurai" on another thread. So I keyword searched it in this forum. It turned up a lot of results (about 160 of them). But it seemed like most of the mentions of "Market Samurai" were in the context of some other discussion. It also seemed like a number of people were expressing disappointments with it.

I was hoping maybe this thread could pull together what Market Samurai is, how/where people find it to be effective, is it getting more or less useful over time, and what people don't like about it.

There must be a website for this. But I'd like to see what the current state of affairs is on this thing from a contemporary Warrior perspective. Nothing like hearing the truth from people who aren't in the company's marketing department!

Market Samurai is an incredibly powerful keyword research tool.

I've been using it for a few months now, and it really can gather a TON of information on your keywords, including adwords cost per click, seo competition, the number of indexed sites with the keywords in the title or URL, the trends for the keywords, traffic and search expectations, and SOOO MUCH MORE.

You can evaluate the competition data with the tool, and there are tons of other features.

It's well worth the $97 (you sign up for a free trial, and then you get a discount at $97 if you buy it within a certain number of days)

Go on youtube and watch some videos on how to use it, and you'll soon see how powerful it actually is. Although I don't use it EXCLUSIVELY because I believe in diversity in everything to get the best results in this online marketing thing. Market Samurai is my most used keyword tool, though.

Oh, and if you buy it, make sure you buy it from someone's affiliate link who deserves it!

currently I'm still using market samurai for research
and for me it was already quite helpful, but is there any tool that can search for keywords derivatives such as google keyword tools

It's a time saver when it comes to Market Research. You could do without it, but having all in one place is a great advantage. The only negative point I have to say about it is that it is sometimes too slow for my taste to parse those results

I agree that it's pretty slow sometimes, but it's definitely still faster than looking up all that information manually, so I tolerate it.

I definitely make use of other free tools as well like the G Keyword Tool and WordPot and some others.

Market Samurai is definitely the most powerful tool for keywords that I have used though, and it gets used quite frequently on my end. I went through 4 free trials before finally coughing up the money, but I thought that after using it for 4 trial periods, it was probably worth paying for.

Yeah Market Samurai is probably one of if not the best keyword research tools out there. It is intuitive in its design and has very powerful features. It is basically the Swiss army knife of keyword research tools.

The only two downsides in my opinion is that it can be a bit slow (but I do have a super slow internet, so it probably has more to do with that) and the potential earning and traffic of the #1 result can be a little bloated I believe.

Anyway, it has a really long free trial period so it should be a no brainer. If you are looking to spend money on tools, this would definitely be amongst the first ones to consider.

It is an amazing tool. I even put a free WSO together about how to use it. I think if anyone is really serious about their internet marketing business, they need to have this tool in their armour.

Market Samurai is definitivly a most. Very powerful if you take the time to learn how to use it correctly.

I think I used at least two free trials last year, and I went ahead and bought the full (non discount) version today, knowing about the current server issues and some (looks like very few overall, though) somewhat disgruntled users. Thanks to the free trial I set up a small website that earned $500-600, pretty much on autopilot, and it still earns daily revenue. Market Samurai is easy to learn and understand, and the video tutorials are excellent and explains the basics in a user-friendly manner.

If you haven't done the free trial yet, make sure you have enough free time for the next couple of days to get to know the software well enough to make up your mind whether to upgrade or not. Even without the discount, the price is almost too low. As long as you take advantage of the tools it offers, you'll earn the money back soon enough.

I have been pleased with market samurai over the past year and a half, but over the last month or so it has had MAJOR problems. They have been "hacked" and i still have backlink data. Now tonight I can not research keywords. When one update comes out another part of the system does not work.
I really love this software but this has got to be fixed!
