My Dad's company has offered me some business that I'd really like to take on but I don't think is realistic. Basically, the keywords are either medium traffic with lots of strong competition or low traffic with fewer competitors but still very strong. They've offered me $10,000 to put them on the first page for about 5 terms that fall into the medium traffic, lots of strong competition, but I really think its beyond my ability. Until last month all I knew about link building was article marketing. I've since learnt about link wheels (I've built a small, 12 article link wheel to test) and I'm putting Traves Petelle's 28-day strategy to the test on a new business I've just launched. I don't think they'll pay me until I actually put them on the front page so I can't even outsource the gruntwork without asking for an advance, which I don't want to do because this is the biggest project I've ever taken on. I told them I could at best deliver about 200 visitors a month from the low volume keywords and that I thought even that would take at least 6 months of full-time work, which I can't do because I already work full-time and my evenings are pretty busy trying to get my own businesses off the ground. Is this at all feasible? The money would be great, I'd pay off my debts and buy a few websites on Flippa that I could grow but I really don't think that I can do what they want. |
