URLs In WF Signatures Work?

Hey

Does having multiple posts with a URL in a signature diminish the quality of the link from Warrior Forum?

Or does Google simply consider all the posts you make where you leave a signature behind on Warrior Forum as one vote?

I can understand having a signature link constantly displayed for Internet Marketing stuff but if you own a non-Internet Marketing site, would making ONE post here on Warrior Forum using a signature with keyword rich hypertext be enough (pinging the post of course)?

Of should I be posting with the URL in my signature constantly?

Is having 10 links from the warrior five times better than having 2? Great question, I believe on some level there are diminishing returns.

Where I know there are diminishing returns is on the root domain side of the algorithm.

The diversity of root domains linking to your site is a huge part of the algorithm. A person with a million posts Vs. a person with 1 post, both are only getting one root domain out of the deal.

If you have 10 backlinks from wikipedia, that certainly is better than 1.

Of course but all I did was pose a question, in your example is would be: "Is 10 links, 10 times better than 1?"

I would say no but do agree that 10 is better than 1.

Right, for the most part, the amount of backlinks don't really matter if it is on the same site. If the site has a high PR and trust rank then it doesn't really matter if you have more than one.

Like article marketing, people used EZA to rank their articles faster, but still including backlinks to their site. In a sense of traffic, the more backlinks the better, but in a sense of ranking, you want backlinks from different IPs/domains.

Um...except any link from wikipedia is not really a backlink.

Even though virtually all links we put in sigs have zero relevancy,
any post you make with a sig will count something. WF has great
authority and is crawled on a constant basis.

Same thing could be said about wikipedia, but that darn nofollow
thing gets in the way, and all the baggage that comes with it.
Or lack thereof.

Trust me on this Paul, that nofollow on wikipedia doesn't mean a thing as far as getting a backlink & ranking a page in the SERP.

I don't really care about passing PR to my own page from wikipedia, all I care about is getting the backlink & helping my own page rank, & wikipedia does this very fast.

I've thought about writing an ebook when I get time on how I get wikipedia backlinks, without drawing attention to myself or my backlinks (wiki mods).

Those nofollow wikipedia backlinks will still rank a page in the SERPs very fast, I've had pages ranked in the SERPs over night from a few hand picked wiki backlinks.

Again, that nofollow means nothing on wikipedia.
