If I have a phrase like 'lee enfield 303 scope mount', do the google etc bots and who ever else does these things, read this as the individual keywords that make it up as well as the whole phrase? In this case lee enfield 303 scope mount (its just an example phrase from my hobby and therefore know about, its not a good combination something I'm using) also is made up of the following highly usable keywords; lee enfield enfield 303 scope mount enfield 303 scope I have tried to combine keywords like this before, especially in domain names, but I'm not sure if it's an effective technique. many thanks BR88 |

yes, Google will recognize the words as well as phrases. If you rank your site for "very large banana tree", this will also affect how your site/page ranks for "large banana tree". The longer phrase will be easier to rank, but will likely have fewer monthly searches. It's just a balancing act to figure out which one will be more worthwhile to build links for. |
