Out of all of the methods you use to generate a profit from your website or blog, how does Adsense rank?

I wouldn't call Adsense a primary profit maker but it isn't bad. I haven't put too much work into my adsense niche sites and am making around $50 a day. I just refuse to invest too much time into it because of all the horror stories of people making $400 a day and getting banned the next day. I always diversify my income.
