LINK BAIT!

...in whatever form.

It has been beating the pants off of all of the other forms (at least for me)...in terms of ease and numbers.

It's true...natural links do happen...go figure.

This is true. Creating unique content, or contests, or content that gets people thinking is great ways to get people to link to you. To many people think that natural linking is gone and you have to create all of your links, but this is far from the truth. Natural linking does work, and will provide some amazing results.

Link bait is great, I find myself using from time to time on more competitive sites. The reason it works so well is because the links are built so naturally and usually are very relevant.

I am looking for the definition of link bait and what methods you are referring to here. I have heard different ways of doing this, but can people reply as to what methods work best?
