Just see, website A and website B are all relevant to "Blogging tips". But website A has higher PR page rank than website B. When somebody searchs "blogging tips" in Google, website A's result will come first than website B.

So if you buy high PR page rank that linked back to your site, you site could have higher PR. Your site will display ahead, then more visitors would click to visit your site.

Anyway, don't buy links, get them yourself. However, if you do buy links, chances are you aren't going to be punished, just be smart about it.

High PR links are sought after because people believe home page PR trickles through the site. I believe the last update actually stopped that a little bit. A true, high PR link you get, would be great, it would boost you through the search engines.

There are many positive impacts on getting High Page Rank links. How these links can help and at what extent, depends on the quality of the website that the link is placed and the quality of the link itself.

Google gives High PR to pages it trusts. If your link is on a page Google trusts, then it can only be a good thing for your site. Unless your link is on a page which has hundreds of other links, or is spammy in nature.

Actually, relevant high PageRank backlinks don't matter, its the PageRank is whats gonna give you the boost. Simply having some relevant content around it doesn't matter all that much.

When you really begin to look at the paid link atmosphere and related rankings, you'll begin to realize that relevancy doesn't matter all that much. That PR8 Chinese.gov footer link really helps rankings after all.

There is almost no benefit of backlinks from URL with PR=0. If you create your subdomains but don't promote them, they all get PR=0.
