Hi there, I just used AMR to send off my article to some directories and now I have a lot of pingbacks to my wordpress blog. However I am not sure if I should approve them at all or who they are of benefit to. Can anyone please give advice on if I should approve them or not. Thanks a lot. |

The pingbacks are an odd one. They're like an endorsement of your content usually, as it shows people are linking to you, however in this situation the links will benefit the article directory. You need to make the call on whether you want to send a link to the article page! |

Those pingback's are simply an electronic notification that someone has published your article. You will learn that quite a few are just another attempt to spam you with their link and you should check any that you feel you would like to approve. Check to be sure that the article still includes your link and your name as the author before approving them. They can be a time consuming pain in the butt just like comment spam. I have had many that still include my name and link, but have spun the article content. others that just leave my name and link out and claim to be the author themselves. Many auto-blogs pull articles and contribute to the problem. However, some are just what you were hoping for when submitting to article directories and provide you with some syndication. If you don't care to bother with them just turn them off in your admin section. |

Hello to all here, I am also taking Interest in this discussion here. What I understand is that If my link is not going to be changed by some one there is no need to get disturbed about anything and allow them for that. In this case, There will not be any negative impact with this.Am I right? |
