Long Tail Keywords - Tool

I've spent over 10 hours searching for long tail keywords that have searches of over 3000/mo and less than 13,000 competing exact match websites (give or take) with no success.

The tools I have used are Market Samurai, Micro Niche Finder and the Google adword tool.

Now I've read in many different places it shouldn't take that long to find keywords with these parameters.

Are the days of finding keywords with these parameters gone or am I missing something?

The niches I've been focusing are panic attacks, lose weight, how to build muscle and go green.

Any thoughts or input are much appreciated!

your trying to find long tail keywords for all the popular niches.. go a little smaller and you should start finding keywords..

it does take awhile to find a great keyword, for instance I've found 3 keywords lately that have ended up on page 1 of google in just a week or so..

keep looking, go on clickbank or wherever you are and get some ideas..

Any keyword tool would help you a lot.

I'm sure Google Adwords keyword tool may not give you long tail keywords but if you use Wordtracker then you can have long tail keywords as well.

I would say SERPAnalytics, awesome for this kind of stuff.

If you send me your email i will send you some keywords I have been researching. I use a keyword called keyword snatcher, This is no longer available. My only goal in this is to invest on others. I truly believe this is how our success comes. The panic keyword list is 709 keywords. I can do the rest as well for you. Thanks

Long tail keywords work well, especially in the early stages until your site starts to rank for your main keyword. If you look in google analytics, you will see that naturally you start ranking for phrases you didn't even aim for. Take a closer look at some of these traffic sources and then see if they get a decent number of searches a month. If so, you can then SEO your site a little better for them.

Long tail keywords are the best for the sites to be ranked easily in search engines. The long tail keywords should be of your business related keywords. Just have some 3 to word keyword as long tail keyword. For example see to this keyword "business process outsourcing companies", you can rank easily for this keyword rather than going for "bpo companies"

Make use of such long tail keywords so that you can achieve your ranking for single word keywords also in future.

Check out Keyword Sniper Pro 2.0 - it gives me all the long tail keywords I'd ever need, ones that the Google Adwords Keyword Tool doesn't show you...

Hi all;
I am also looking for a tool that should help me find keywords that fit a certain criteria of traffic and competition.
Market Samurai does a good job but it takes forever and it crashes all the time. I think it processes too much information.
Can someone tell of a good related software (or online application) that would simply return me on any keyword or keyword list the amount of searches per month and the amount of competing pages.
As simple as combining the google keyword tool and the return on a quoted google search on the given keyword terms.
I'd appreciate a simple tool like this.
