Default IS creation of Rss feed for all your links are helpful?

I have read in a forum that create Rss feed for all of your links, and bookmark them in social bookmarking site.

It will help in faster indexing of your site.

It will help get your links indexed faster. Does that actually help anything? That's debatable.

To me the biggest benefits of using RSS that isn't mentioned enough:

To get links. You want sites that scrape RSS and use them on their blogs and sites to use your RSS so you get links. To do this, you need to figure out where RSS-fed sites are getting their pheeds from and try to get your pheeds on their pages. You need to keep pounding away, creating tons of RSS pheeds and update/ping them constantly for this to work. With some research the end-goal is to "spam the spammers".

The research is basically fiding the keywords scraper sites are using for their content and find out where they are getting their RSS. If you can figure out where they are getting their RSS pheeds and what keywords they're using, you basically have control of their pages and links.

Anoher important use of RSS is to collect and use your own RSS pheeds for content and cross-linking. So many web resources, like blogs and user accounts, give you access to your own RSS pheed. For example, if you have a WP blog and an Ezine Articles account, they both give you additional RSS pheeds. By "mashing them" (combining multiple RSS pheeds) you can then use the single "mashed" RSS pheed to easily cross-link to all your other stuff.

And by mashing your pheeds, you now have a third RSS pheed to submit and ping.

But again, the key really is to have a lot of RSS pheeds that update a lot, that you ping a lot. If you aren't going to use RSS a lot, it probably won't do a lot for you.
