Depends on the amount of outbound links and several other factors.

I am now taking on full-time SEO clients. PM me for more information.

1 pr 10 link worth 100 pr 1 links so that's not bad.

I am not surprised if its more than $1000. If its monthly I would prefer to have it for a cycle of 3 months continuously at the start of the fiscal year and again 3 months at the end of the year.

So, would be ready to spend $6K for 6 months.

But I didnt know whether Google and Adobe are selling links on their home pages.

I highly doubt that they will actually be getting you a pr10 link. As of January 2011 there are 17 pr10 sites.

Google PageRank 10 Sites January 2011-PageRank 10 Websites Updates History List

(I have no affiliation to that site, just a list that I found).

So you have a basic idea which site the link would be from (if it was actually delivered).

I don't think whoever is offering would deliver on their promise.

However, if I was offered a pr10 backlink (from the homepage of the pr10 site) and was offered it for $1000 then I would take it.

Doubt this is the case though.

This is possibly the greatest understatement that's ever been made in this forum, Healthtourism. A PR-10 link would be worth many, many millions (perhaps tens or even hundreds of millions) of PR-1 links.

Nobody can say exactly how many millions with certainty, because Google doesn't disclose the precise arithmetical "base" of the logarithmic function on which this rests, but even according to the most conservative estimates of it, the disparity between the two is a factor of multiple millions, not just 100.

Exactly. Think of their values more on an exponential scale rather than linear. If there are only a handful of pr10 sites but millions (if not billions) of pr0 and pr1 web pages, then you can bet the values are going to differ accordingly.

PR means so much to a new or money site you would not believe it to you see the effect after Q1!

As a guide:

PR10 - Find one who is stupid enough to risk a link on their DN for $1k+!

PR5-9 - More likely and less risky to DN owners with PR - $50 - 400+

We have sold perm links on some PR6-8 sites (now sold) for around $70 - $600 this was of course before FB traffic!

Hope that helps a little :-)

There's no such thing as a "PR6-8 site".

Sites don't "have page rank". Pages have page rank.

I know you wouldn't do this, obviously, DK, but some people have been known to sell links on PR-0 pages of sites whose home page (not where the link is!) happens to be PR6-8 and tell their customers that what they're buying is a "link on a PR6-8 site". There were plenty of people doing this at fiverr.com, for example, but even they are finally clamping down, now, on such fraudulent misrepresentations.

You can get a PR10 link for free....You just need to make bigger news than the NCAA Tournament, Libya, the Japanese Earthquake, etc.... CNN is a PR10. Plus your link is not going to last very long.

Of course, you could buy advertising on the front page of CNN, but I'd bet that is going to cost you an arm and a leg, plus a big barrel of those $1000's.

Not to be rude, but I SERIOUSLY doubt that you are able to buy a PR10 link. Don't let yourself be scammed. But yes, IF I could get a PR10 link for a $1000 (even per year) I'd jump on that in a half second. If it were reality, but it won't be.

I'm an avid Detroit Lions fan and I blog about my hometown Detroit Lions & Detroit sports for fun more than anything. GO LIONS!!!

Just go through the list on this link:

Why would any of those hotshots start selling backlinks?

Each level or PAGE rank has a much higher barrier to entry. There are extremely few PR10 sites (Amazon is PR9) -and you won't buy a link on one of the actual PR10 pages for $1000. If you look at the list of PR10 sites, you'll see those aren't sites likely to sell a link to anyone.

Gee - what a great idea. Tack a page at the end of a site with a PR10 index page and sell links on that new PR0 page. Governments should try that

Before you evaluate what something is "worth" - you need to see if it's "real".

Then I suppose I should call Mark. Its been a long time since he did me a favor whereas I've been on his site for years, using apps, clicking ads and sending payments his way.

P.s. - He owes me anyway for having kept my mouth shut as "the social network" did not reveal all his secrets.

If google finds out that a website has paid for a link to gain link juice not only will google ignore the backlink but will penalize the site that paid for the link. However if the link is a nofollow then that is a different story.

PR 10 backlinks are not really interchangeable, so there is no going rate.

A PR 10 backlink from the world's biggest porn site is not a good place to put the link for your bible fellowship.

It is, however, a good place to put the link to your "classic 1970s porn" directory.

Clearly, the bible fellowship and the 70s porn directory are willing to pay very different rates for that backlink.

options,

Each level of Pagerank is a "league above" the next.

I think it is widely accepted that each level of page rank requires many times the link juice of the previous level. If the factor is 10

Then PR 10 =
10 * PR9 =
100 * PR8 =
1000 * PR7 =
10000 * PR6 =
100000 * PR5 =
1000000 * PR4 =
10000000 * PR3 =
100000000 * PR2 =
1000000000 * PR1

PR10 is only available on the TOP TOP TOP sites. If such a link was available it would be worth $1,000,000 probably. I doubt there are any available.

So I would assume the seller is a fraud.

Does a number make you rich?

try link exchange with google.com (make sure you ask for sitewide links including homepage and do check for iframe or js after they place your link)

Couldn't tell you the going rate. Depends on the other links and number on the page. Of course they would preferably be dofollow. And related to your niche, traffic, a ton of other things. Are they good forever. Are they on the main page or internal pages. So many factors can really make a difference. But, good luck finding one of them, and for free is very difficult. Not impossible but difficult.

The biggest misconception is that people people they have to get thousands of backlinks, and this as soon as possible. You have to understand the power of QUALITY, and the principle of getting consistent, but valuable backlinks.

Most offers that you get here on the form are only focused on quantity not quality. You have to ask yourself, is it work to invest more money in maybe 30 backlinks that will bring me the equivalent value of thousands of blog comment or profile backlinks?

If you can get backlinks from guest posts from PR 5 -PR 9 sites consistently, letīs say 2- 5 a week. This can and probably will be more worth than a few thousand mediocre and low quality backlinks.

A hell of a lot of people misrepresent Page Rank values. I have a tool that can show you the true page rank value before any of you get scammed you might want to ask me the PR value of the site, I will do it for free and show you the tool. You would be surprised at the results.

That's true, if you can find a PageRank 10 websites want to give you a link and you share the similar topic, $1,000 definitely not expensive!

There's maybe just a handful of pr10 sites in the net. I haven't even seen one except for Google's so I did a little research. This link, Google PageRank 10 Sites January 2011-PageRank 10 Websites Updates History List, has a list of pr10 sites as of January 2011 and there's only 17 of them.
