Here's something I've been thinking of lately: in order to monetize with Adsense, do you really need that great content? I mean content that will keep your visitors reading through many articles of your site? Because I know Google loves to see users going to a site and not returning to do a new search; a site like that gets good ranking. But is that the idea of an Adsense website? Won't average content fare better here, because it makes visitors click away from your website as fast as possible? ![]() As a side question, how good is 2-3 minutes in average of visitors' time spent on a site? Is that a good time with Google? Thanks in advance for your answers |

I don't have amazing content on my sites, but it isn't bad at all, and they are doing fine.

I think that's the whole point, NOT to have amazing content. That way, visitors read through one or two of your articles then click on an adsense link that seems more promising. If your content is too good and you're addressing all the problems, then chances are they won't click on your adsense so much. Am I right here? |

Good point, just enough for the click.
