ALERT !! PPC HELP NEEDED

Hey warriors

Hope you dont mind the dramatic title.
But i am really struggling, i need to know the cheapest way to use ppc with google text ads.

I am needing to make some quick money for a little research i have going on.
but it is putting a BIG hole in my wallet.

I have tried using the 1cent banner ad methods but this is not very geographical and i need to promote my ads in the UK or US for my ads to run at full potential so please please help me

You should have full Geo targeting ability at the campaign level, select the options tab and from there select the locations tab, and then select UK / US and you will be fine from there.

yeah thank you i dont think you understand the question,
I am looking for advice, i want be able to run my google text ads for the cheapest price possible and i just wondered if anyone had a secret they could share.

My Geo targeting is fine but doesn't not receive a lot of view or click on my banner ads.

Anyone else who can help me ?

Has your landing page got a high enough quality score? If so that then just leaves your keyword choices. You could review these going for less competitive KWs and also use misspelled keywords (you can get these using SEObook) they do not bring vast returns but also cost you nothing when not used.
Also analyze your competitors with spyfu.com

Have you tried 2nd tier SE advertising?

Paid search in Adwords using text ads is not getting cheaper by the day with bid prices going up all the time.

Two essentials for success in Adwords campaigns are:
Targeting and Relevance

Ensure your campaign has several ad groups with each ad group targeting a set of tightly knit related keywords. The landing page for this ad group has to be totally in sync with the targeted keyword(s). This will ensure a good quality score. Also, have some useful links like Resources, Privacy, About, Contact etc on this landing page.

As for keyword selection, if you are going for the main keyword phrase, it could be highly competitive depending on the niche it is in. Go through MS or MNF to get closely related long tail keywords that get decent search and would not cost an arm and a a leg. Try targeting them.

Have a couple of highly targeted ads for each ad group with good call to action and containing your keyword in the ad text. It is best to write a benefit in the ad. Get the ads to be shown equally so you will know which ad performs better.

Also do not change and chop keywords, ad text etc. PPC campaigns take atleast two to three months to settle down and reflect an emerging pattern. If your daily budget is reached very quickly, then try to get your ad in positions 4 to 6 on the right column as positions 1 to 3 will be quite expensive.

Hope these tips help. It again comes down to the niche you are targeting that will impact on keyword bid prices.
