Something wrong with adsense today? Done with adsense?

Anyone else noticing a drop in impressions over the last couple of days? On one site, for example, I was getting about 25 impressions and now am down to 2. About the same on couple other sites.

I even posted more youtube vids few days ago??

Is this just coincidence?

I thnk I am done with adsense/google. Too much dependeence on them is scary. Think I am going to try to go less organic and more affiliate so I am not dependent on google and its uncertaintly adn everchanging models.

If your Adsense traffic is 100% organic SERP traffic, that's a mistake.

Plenty of other sources of free traffic, I get about 2k average per day just from related niche forums.

I am using youtube, article ads and organic but with very modest success. No where close to 2k per day. Way to go. I own another business - totally unrelated to IM so I get to spend about 2-4 hours per week on IM. I knew absolutely zero to start, but am eagerly progressing through all of the essentials.

Yeah mine was weird today too...

I don't do much if anything with adsense but normally I get 50 impressions a day average on a few properties I have and today I got 1. Strange...

What does page impression really means? Is page impression affects our adsense?

Just wondering because am new in adsense...

Page impression is how many times someone has visited any pages on your site.

If one person visited your site, & loaded 5 of your pages in their web browser you would have 5 Adsense impressions (per adsense Ad block on each page).

See, keep these things in mind while doing your research work on your adsense account:-
How many times the page or pages containing the AdSense advertisement was shown to visitors;
The number of times someone actually clicked on an advertisement;
what is your click-thru rate, in a percentage basis;

and ultimately what you have earned that is the main and ultimate goal of yours.
