Hi Warriors, I have published a page on my blog more than two weeks ago and did the following actions to give it a boost in Google results: 1)Submitted it to more than 30 social sites. 2)Submitted multiple articles through mass article submitter (around 40 sites). When I checked my links in Google Webmaster Tools two weeks later it showed only one link to this page. Does anybody have an idea why my links are not counted by Google? Note: I am ranking no. 3 in Google for that page. |

google is slow at reporting back what they find. Not to mention after the last update they started counting everything differently so you may not ever see them if your links don't get enough traffic |

They'll never show ALL you links, which is a good thing. Imagine if I was your competitor and just got all the same links you have plus a few more...it'd be an all out backlink war. The important question is, are they indexed? If you can put the URL in the Google search, and it returns with the url, then it's indexed. If it's not, you should ping it or backlink it to get it indexed. |

Some of the links through social bookmarking or social network sites may be "nofollow". Check to see which of those sites you submitted to do that, and which do not. Also, Google Webmaster Tools has a delay on new reported data that can sometimes be several days. GWT also does not report ALL backlinks to a site. Someone on another forum noted that there have been reports of up to 40% of those links missing. As for article submission, there has been in increasing delay for submissions to get approved on a lot of well-known article marketing sites due to the uproar over Google's recent "Farmer" update. This article explains what happened and why those sites are much more concerned about article quality now and taking more time to approve submissions. |

| GWT is very slow at updating, look at the Google cache of the page that has your backlink on it. If your backlink shows inside the Google cache, then Google knows about your backlink... |

It will take quite a long time before Google count your backlinks. That's a normal scenario.
