Default Would this Adsense layout get me banned?

See subject. Site has unique content, the above is just an example for a high CTR ad layout which i mimicked freely similarto DoshDOsh bluesense theme.

(Eg. link unit on top, big 336 on top of content and vertical bar on the side, left)

I need people who use the same or similar layout and can tell me whether they ran into problems with that kind of layout.

Also..whether making the Ads the same color as the content/headlines (better blending in) would add a further risk.

I have reason to believe that Google recently also started to weed out many Adsense publishers, and the layout could play a role. In other words: What was fine a few months ago would result in a ban now.

I think that looks good as is! That isn't breaking any rules. If you start blending the ads to look like the site big G might spank that a$$! LOL!

I would wrap the large block to the right.
Google likes to see some content above the fold.
Hard to tell just how much of the article is above
the fold. If the average surfer has to scroll down
to see any content, that's not good for the visitor.

I like a similar layout at school-grants.org
You'll see the way I like to wrap the large block.

I'd definitely add a separator between the 336 and the title. Whether it be a linebreak, or an excerpt, definitely add it.

I am now taking on full-time SEO clients. PM me for more information.

Ok, i asked some people now..and its clear to WRAP the text around (with 336 to the left). That lonely ad without wrapped text might be bad for many reasons...

As for the seperator, do you mean separator after the the 336 or after the title (before the ad?) Would i need a separator if i already wrap the text?

I've never liked any blocks side by side.

You might think of putting one paragraph above the large ad block.

I'm either confused or just wrong: One webpage can have 4 Adsense Ads?!

According to google adsense policy Another look at optimizations - Inside AdSense Ads shouldn't be placed under a title or section heading in a way that implies that the ads are not ads.

So i think adding "Advertisement" just below the title and then adsense block after it will be fine. Just like this guy is doing. Google Adsense Ads Below Post Titles Not Allowed

If I use adsense right below the title for the page I use a horizontal line below the title as a separator.

I also think it would be better to wrap the block or just put a couple paragraphs above the center block.

I'll be testing a similar look as this Adsense (link below) on my next site.

Notice how they have the Adsense colors setup.

isnt that "sponsored links" overkill - would a separator be enough?
What about a link unit below the menu?

yukon, they only get away with this since its the LA times. I can guarantee you that NO "little affiliate" would survive with such a layout after manual review. No chance in hell IMO.

I'm talking about the Adsense block color scheme.
