I am between second page and first page on a keyword that has 1 million searches per month on exact match, and almost 3 million on broad match, i have 3 payment methods. And i have a max of 3-4 sales /day. My alexa rank is going crazy, is going very good, but i don't understand why so less sales.

Have a look at your keyword again. It could be possible that the searchers use that term to seek only free information. That it has a very low conversion rate. Apart from that it can also be your landing page, not motivational or attractive enough for people to actually buy your product. I can think of only these two reasons. |

Without getting into the details of what you're selling, have you done any testing, split testing, or maybe even different product (if practical)? Quote:

It appears to me you first need to learn how to do some research for key words and competition that you can rank a site for... Your site has 10 keywords and out of the ten keywords ! The least amount of competition is 15 million and the most is 187 millions..I checked your main url in Traffic Travis , the result is 2 back links to your homepage. The Reason you are not getting any sales. Most likely is because you are not getting any traffic...What 2 keywords is your site ranking for so I can check them ? It is for sure your site is not ranking for any of 10 keywords you currently have.. *** There was somethings I liked alot about your site..The appearance and layout look really good ! I also Like the banners in the layout and the carousel in the footer of home page , with some traffic I think those would do well... My Recommendation: 1. Start focusing on longer tail keywords when it is a competitive niche and know the competition for the first page of Google on those keywords 2. Learn more about SEO on and off page 3. Start with 5 keywords and build your Content around those.Mostly off page. 4. You may not want to have so many pages of information if you are trying to sell. Don't let them run around wild ! 5. Put 3 or 4 anchors text links in the content on your pages and link to something related to buy. 6. Don't put twitter links and other stuff where they can escape and never come back. Use twitter to get them to your website , not take them away 7. Use original content and your own videos 80 percent of the times. Not a bunch of feeds.. You got to learn these things, when you get them down I think you will do just fine..I wish you the best ! |

Also as someone said is it a information seeking or buying keyword? Is the product you're selling, a good one? Are you doing a good job to convince people/sales copy? Good luck again | |
