Let's say you have 2 sites. Site A and B. Let's say that site A has a 301 redirect to site B. Let's say that you instead of building links to site B, you build links to site A ( the one you have redirected). Is this an effective marketing strategy that will keep site B white hat in the eyes of the search engines? And, will it work to move site B up in the serps? |

| I am not a SEO expert, but I am pretty sure it will not being a good SEO practice. Search Engine engineers are far more aware than the "SEO experts" are that people don't always know these kind of tactics. |
