Am pretty new in SEO and have been wondering what RSS is and whether its a tool in SEO! please advice!

RSS (most commonly expanded as Really Simple Syndication) Submit your RSS to RSS directories to get backlinks to your links or main site itself. |

yup, rss is not a tool. It's a off page activity. RSS stands for both rich Site SummaryReally Simple Syndication but it always refers to the same technology.
