How do you get the "Plugin by dagondesign.com" to place this sitemap on a page like this (Sitemap) for you? I've installed it, activated it, and made the new wp page with <!-- ddsitemapgen --> as instructed. However when I view the new page it's blank. http://www.masonjarrecipes.com/sitemap I'm assuming I'm missing something here because the xml sitemap is working. Doesn't this plugin build the html view of a sitemap as well as a xml? Or do you copy/paste the xml site map to your new page manually? That doesnt seem right since ive seen several sitemap pages with Plugin by dagondesign.com at the bottom, leads me to believe the plugin some how built both the xml and html sitemaps. |

You need to save it in the HTML screen (not Visual)

| It's perfectly safe. Both serve different purposes. The XML version is basically for search engines, and have more information. Whereas the HTML is version is for human viewing, but of course that also will be crawled by the search engines.

Am using Dagondesign sitemap plugin myself, the answer given by thecableguy is spot on. You should switch to the HTML tab in the edit post screen before putting in the <!-- ddsitemapgen --> text. That text will not be visible when you switch back to the Visual tab, but it's there.
