how do you optimize your website for higher paying adsense ads?

I am currently earning about $100 per month from adsense ads. I've only been using adsense since May 2008, so i guess that's ok, but I would like to earn more. My Question is what are the best techniques that can be used to draw higher paying ads from adsense? What are you guys doing?

One last thing, Is Adsense the best ad model to use or is yahoo or some other service better?

Basically you want to find out and target niches that contain keywords with the highest payout. For example, a cosmetic dentistry site will earn you more then a site about goldfish.

P.S. There are few places and services where you can find out the top paying keywords for adsense.

If you choose more expensive niches then you will obviously make more money. If you have already chosen a niche then you can try using smaller ad blocks so only those bidding highest appear on your site.

You are actually doing great... Not many people who are getting such amount in such time... Just improve more traffic and do some trail and error on placements.

Page Content inspirations are coming to me from high paying keywords . I think if someone targeting Google profit . Firstly they need to do a good research about high paying keywords / less competitors .

I would recommend you to do some keyword research on high-paying keywords. Use the google.com/select/TrafficEstimatorSandbox to show the estimated average per click for the top position ads and an estimated number of clicks per day for your chosen keyword phrase. And Spyfu.com can show you the number of advertisers and the cost per click for the different keywords phrases.

Talk to other people and see how much they make. Find out their niches, and either create a new site, or alter yours to fit the same niche or a similar one.

I just put up another thread on a new way adsense is letting you earn, this won't help right now if you aren't in North America, but it is increasing mine.

Parked domains no longer give revenue to domain co put Adsense on Them

I guess it depends on how many domains you just have parked doing nothing.

Hi,

You need to choose the right keywords! (not to much keywords)

for example.. if my website is a dating site i will choose the keywords "dating" "dating site"

I'll take care to link the AD to the right page (with title, description, keywords and text that contain the keywords i choose)

I'll choose the countries , age of pepoles and the time i want the ADS will show up.

and thats it :-)
