|  What other factors affect rankings besides backlinks?
How can you improve the ranking of a site? I currently use the meta "keywords" and "description" tags. Are there any other methods/tips that i could use? Thank you in advance |

Keyword Prominence within content, image alt, internal link structure, external link optimization are also vitally important besides backlinks...Of course, backlinks are one of the most important one. Quote:

How about a few obvious ones? Proper keyword research and a title tag is enough for very low competition keywords! Domain...Title...h1, h2... keyword density, alt tags, deep linking, sitemap, regularly updated relevant content. |
