Default Fellow warrior review?

hi all

want to collect a few honest opnions about my website, it is pretty new (two months old) and im no webmaster, so im learning as i go with this one. I have adsense plugged into it and want to know what my placement looks like, and if i should tweak a few things.

anyways the website is: www.thenewtechnologyinfo.com

review site, on pretty much anything having to do with tech, computers, etc.

appreciate your time and input, and dont be gentle, let me have it if you think it is crap. Thanks again

Congratulations for your site. It is nice and clean. I will suggest you a couple of thing in order to slightly improve it.
- Add a category menu at the top navigation bar. This will both facilitate navigation and tell your visitors more about what they can find in your site.
-Adsenses are nicely placed. The one on the top-right corner is perfect. This is one of the best spots on a page to place them. Adsenses above and in the content also have a high CTR, but they make your posts look less clean.

I don't know where you get the content from, but is case you are not using original content, be careful. Google is closing Adsenses accounts if the sites where the adds are placed have autogenerated content.

Good to hear.

Have you thought about using, along with adsenses, Amazon widgets? You can earn some commissions from Amazon. I have a couple of technology related sites and I'm having a good CR on the Amazon widgeds I palce on the sidebar.

One more thing.

The links on your images. If yow want to use them to display a bigger image, I will suggest you to use Lightbox or something similar or, at link open the link on a new page. Some people will not even bother to press the "go back button" and you will miss potencial clicks.

I had a look at your site. Its well organised but the adsense link colour I am not quite sure. It does not blend in with the overall design feel. I will also recommend to add a link unit above each of your individual post.

actually i would like to use amazon but have failed to be able to put it on my site, i have been trying to use CODE to do it, so based on what your saying i need to go for the WIDGET option? your just solved a weeklong issue i have been having lol. Definitaly would love to have the kindle on there. As far as the pictures, i am not really meaning for them to link to anything, or show a bigger image, it is ju8st a visual add on to my posts to catch the eye of the reader and give them at least the basic idea of what they are reading about. should i make the image a link to the post itself?

Don't you think your post titles need to be displayed prominently?

Regarding Amazon, you can have both widgets or banners. Go to your Amazon Associates account and take a look at what they have. Take a look at their Banner links. i also like the Deals Widget.

Regarding to the images, just remove the link. If you do not want them to link to anything, just do not place any link on them.

How are you adding the code?
An easy way to do it is to add a text widget (WP widget) to your side bar and paste the code inside.

Don't worry. This is how all we learn. You won't do it next time.
