Default Keyword tools that dont cost a fortune?

Hey guys my first post on the Warrior forum (im a DP member of 2 years).

I have a problem. I'm a 20 year old poor college student and I can't afford the hefty price tags that those keyword tools carry!

I know thats the price of doing business, but I figured I would ask.

Are their ANY keyword finding tools that don't cost so much. Or what are some cheaper alternatives. Looking mainly for one time payments. But monthly is cool.

The best one and totally free !
https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal

just need to do so some manual work , look for good keywords , then go to google and check the competition , do that until you find a keyword with good amount of searches per month with a nice CPC and low competition ...and you found yourself gold.

Touche!

Here is a crazy thought I had, are keyword finding tools basically making a lazy person even lazier? Do they do anything I cant do manually?

You can use the free Google keyword tool or the free version of Market Samurai until you can afford to purchase the full version.

There are only two things I would bother with:

1) Google - free as mentioned.

2) Market Samurai - $97 if you optin to their free trial you'll be emailed a discount offer and this is a ONE TIME fee. Best bang for the buck and HUGELY valuable to save time.

Google has the famous keyword tool absolutely FREE but i am a little worried of how accurate the results are.And as Chris Thompson has said in the previous post, Market samurai is totally worth the money spent once.If you stick to what you are doing you will make this 97$ investment many times above

Wrong. While the GAKT is free, it's horrible, but most people don't realize that.

OP, one way of looking at it is to conclude that if you save up enough money to buy a tool like Keyword Sniper Pro (which I'd recommend), it will pay for itself many times over with all the great keywords you wouldn't otherwise be finding...

How else would you come up with a list of a few thousand terms, competitive info, and search volume without a keyword tool? I'm wondering what you might mean by "manually"?

Is Keyword Sniper or Market Samurai the way to go?

Yep.

Use keyword suggestions when typing things into the search bar on Google, use the Wonderwheel, and use GAKT and you'll have the same keywords being returned to you from most keyword tools.

I am now taking on full-time SEO clients. PM me for more information.

Seems like everyone is divided between using GM and other tools that cost. I think with some elbow grease and lots of coffee ill be able to do it manually with Google. Thanks gys
