Hi, I'm interested to hear what you usually do once you have built a new page. Whats your default backlinking efforts? I.E. Do you write 5 x web 2.0 properties, and a press release? Or 20 x Blog comments ect ect? Thanks, Sam |

I guess I focus more on backlinking a whole site. The most pages that your website has, the faster you can backlink without fear of a penalty. Generally I focus on Sitewide, Homepage, High PR Blog Comments, Article, Social Bookmarks (for posts only), Xrumer Profiles, and then Do-Follow Blog Comments. |

I simply do (outsource) some High PR quality blog comments and High PR quality Profile backlinks. (article backlinks too) From my research and experience I never do web 2.0 methods as they are not cost effective - It is not worth the money since there are other very effective methods. Press release will not be effective for all sites, but it works well for dynamic unique content sites. Even you can go with xrumer & SB comment blasts but it may has a small risk. However, works for me so far! |

if done properly web 2.0 backlinks are very effective. if you update your web 2.0 properties and it will gain page rank then your main website will benefit. We have clients that only have backlinks from web 2.0 properties and is ranking high in google. But take note that their web 2.0 properties are already 2 years old(mostly). And most of their web 2.0 properties are updated constantly so now most of the pages have PR. |
