Default Internal linking, doing it the smart way as an affiliate

I'm sure this is not your first time of hearing that interlinking is the future of seo in 2011 so I'm not going to blow the old story anymore.

But here is something new...

Have you really thought of what this whole new search engine optimization technique that is way to go for 2011 will be doing to your profits as an affiliate?

The truth...

It will drastically reduce it. You might think I'm wrong based on the grounds that they will last longer on your site as you will send them from post to post but you are wrong!

The longer you waste time in sending them to where the money is, the easier it will be for your visitors to loose interest in your little interlinking rat race and go to someone who will give them an immediate solution to their problem while making money off it... that's the icing boys.

Ok, so I found a solution to this little problem.

After I discovered that it was reducing the CTR of my sites, I decided to find a solution where I will maintain my CTR while still enjoying the SEO benefits for interlinking.

Killing 2 birds with one stone... I think it can only get easier.

They are 3 different approaches that I use depending on which one will suite and sometimes, I even combine the 3 of them if I want to and they work out pretty good.
They are just little tricks and I figure some of you might have known it but for the sake of those who doesn't, I think this will help.

Method 1: Create pages

In your normal mini sniper sites, most of you just have about 3 published topics. So, what you do is create new pages that with original content and are related to your niche but the main purpose of this pages is just to do your interlinking stuff. I normally create about 5 extra pages, use them to link to each other, link to my homepage and also the topics which are the main thing.

Method 2: Use Images
This one is for those who use image on their sites when writing new topics, when you upload the image and you are completing the details of the image like the alt text and title tags, on the image link, enter the link to another of your post or page.

Method 3: Use Contents
This one is a bit tricky and it works well mostly only in new sites...

First, set your wordpress from the admin side to only display 3 posts on your homepage or just the number of post you want displayed, then make sure you select the option to hide the navigation bar (those 1, 2, 3 numbers you use for readings posts that are not on the homepage of the site).

Finally, publish as many contents as you wish to use for you interlinking and just keep the words in each post short, maybe just about 100 - 200 words for each post, create about 5 of this posts.

Then publish you main articles which will now be shown on the homepage then go back to those first posts you created and use them for the interlinking.

With this methods, you will get your SEO advantage for interlinking while maintaining the click-thru rate of your affiliate links.

Hope this helps...

Yea, if you use adsense, it's ok but the problem is that not everybody is a fan of adsense. At least, I'm not. So, I prefer to stick to these tiny tricks
