question about this adsence website?

I have been thinking of creating an ad sence website for a while now and in the middle of my research I came across this website Kidney Stones Symptoms | Signs of Kidney Stones

My question is how much do you guys think this website is makeing monthly from ad sence?

The website is number one for the keyword "kidney stones symptoms" and that keyword gets 74k monthly volume.

I see where the Alexa is not that good. It may get a few bucks a month and the pr is 2. Older site template and probably been around for awhile without me going to look and verify. You can do much better with a nice wordpress theme and good seo. It was probably part os a series of websites premade and for sale awhile back. The site template looks familiar.

His website looks decent and looks like he does know about SEO. I didn´t check the keyword or anything else. Sure, you can build such a site, but it´s hard to say how much you are going to earn every single. We are not in the position to determine the exact volume of each day. You can only make an estimation based on the keyword search volume, visitors, ads and CTR.

Thanks guys, would you guys be open to posting some of your adsense websites and telling how much you make from each one monthly? I am really on the boarder if I want to take the adsense route, but if i see someones success maybe that will help me make up my mind.

It looks pretty decent, the guy knows what he's doing. Since it's in health it may pay out a little better, I didn't research the Adwords CPC but if you find that out we can have a little fun calculating:

Taking monthly traffic of 74K and at #1, you expect to get 50% of the clicks.

so 37K visits monthly, and if it's a $2CPC (for this example's sake) then you'd get about $1 after Google's cut per click. Then figure on a 1% CTR (really I'd expect much higher from this layout) and it's get at least 370 clicks per month which is $370 per month. Again this is contingent on all the info you've given being accurate, plus using my guesstimates. But you get the idea...

It's impossible to say what that site is earning. But when you checked that keyword, did you check for the "exact" search each month?

The website is really optimized good from Adsense point of view and you can make good money as well but you need to concentrate on getting visitors to your website, targeted visitors which would be very helpful in earning revenue from Adsense.

No one is going to post their adsense sites and invite competition into those niches, especially if they are making money!

Exact search gets 33K a month which is a good amount of traffic.
18K US searches and a CPC of $.66 of which 68% of the click you can expect.

I think it could easily make a few hundred dollars a month if not a lot more...

Wow cant belive that. I think I can easily make that building a website for another niche. Im a little confused why Jim Hudson said only a couple bucks per month and you are saying a couple hundred.

Also where did you get the 18k Us figure from. I see localy that it gets 33k under exact match.

Here is your stats for the site. I will leave it to you to figure the average click rate and cost per click. But don't estimate on the CPC that you see in the keyword tool, as that is for search, and The Content Network costs less. i wouldn't figure more than 20% at most of the CPC shown. Maybe a little less.

I'll take a stab at this:

33.1K exact local searches per month. In the number 1 position (assuming the site's always there) let's go with 40% of searchers visit.

33.1K searches
13,240 visitors (assuming 40%)
662 clicks (assuming CTR of 5%)

Low advertisers and a stated cpc of only $0.66. Google pays out 68%, but the GKT is often wrong, so I'll assume $0.30 per click. So, low end, you're looking at around $200/month, not accounting for any other traffic than the primary keyword.

wow that is impressive. I would be willing to build something similar to that in order to earn an extra 200 a month... In a different niche of course.

Im starting to think that adsense is a good monetization route for niche websites that can have alot of good info but there isnt really any particular good cpa product to promote.

As i checked, this site doesn't earn too much. It should earn more but i don't know why it doesn't. I think less than $5 per day. I think this site doesn't worth more than $400.

i think his theme is designed for adsense aand he get at least over $1k a month if i am not wrong. alexa does not matter in this case as i see some site earn upto $4k a month but with false alexa estimate

Its not possible to predict what that site is earning But you cah check keyword and search for it and you will get an idea about it

Impossible to tell. Alexa is not an indicator of anything remotely
resembling profits. Neither is PR.

It's all about targeted traffic, targeted ads, ad placement, surrounding content.

We also know absolutely nothing about how google rates the site and calculates
a CPC.

You can make a bundle with 10 visitors a day, or 1,000.

Or can make zero with 1,000 visitors or 10,000.

I would also like to see the crystal ball people are gazing into.

This is entirely false information here. I don´t think that he will get 50% of the clicks for the first spot. The average clicks for the first spot on Google are around 43%. He will rather get 40% - 45% of the clicks if he is running good. Description, domain name and other factors play a rule here.

Next, if his site is ONLY based on Adsense he should at least have a 10% CTR. If it is set up properly he can get higher than the 10%. How do you define that he gets exactly $1.00 per click? The click depends on the relevant add and can vary greatly man!

I can see that the site is ASP.NET based and not wordpress. I think they have created static ASP.NET pages separately.

You never can tell what a site makes per month. I did see a couple of Top Mesothelioma Law Firm Ads, which I'm sure have a high payout (for Adsense).

True, I just wish I knew which monitization method to go with! Reading a recent thread "finally hit 100 day mark" and he did this with adsence just shows the possibilities!
