Default Do You Sumbit articles from your site

Hey Guys

The question is do you submit the articles to articles directories that are already on your site?

Is it worth spinning?

I do submit them to the major ones, ezinearticles, goarticles, etc. If you plan on mass blasting them to tons of directories with AMR or some software, then I suggest you spin them.

I do all of these things with articles I post on my site, unspun - no problems only further syndication

I also share them with select contacts, convert them into pdfs & podcasts, submit them through services like article ranks, etc etc.

Cool and I should wait for them to be indexed first right?

yes definitely, wait for it to be indexed for a day or two on your site before submitting anywhere else. Google tries to assume the original source of content and indexing it first on your site goes a long way.

You should always put the original article on your site first, get it indexed, then spin it and send it out to the directories.

It’s better to submit the fresh quality content in the article websites, which will help to rank better in the SERP.

I do not submit articles already on my site to article directories. I do not even submit spins of the articles on my sites.

What I do instead is rewrite my site articles completely: rearrange the ideas, sentences, paragraphs, aside from rewriting the sentences and using synonyms, and even adding more ideas or removing some of the ideas discussed in the original article. I usually rewrite it three times. Then I submit the best rewritten version to ezinearticles.

The second rewritten article version I put up on article submission services like SEO Link Vine Elite or AMAutomation, which have their own spinning tools that I can use. If I need to submit to more than one submission service, I come up with more rewrites.

I spin the third rewritten version for submission to article directories. I submit one unique spun version per directory.

If you want to submit your articles to hundreds of sites, you must spin them for having unique content in each of them otherwise, they mark as duplicate content by Google and can't help you as you expect. IMO there are not more than 20 good article directories and submitting your articles in all of them is not needed.

I do re-writes as well. Usually, after I've written the first article, I will have the data in my noggin, so it's easy to write it again without looking at the first one (to ensure originality). I put these articles on my Squidoo and HubPages, and then submit those to the usual: Digg, Delicious, etc.

I have extensively in the past, but I have found that all too often, Google will display a copy of the article from the article directories over mine, even if they have been indexed on my site first.

I am experimenting with a new type of article directory that eliminates this problem completely and gets you unique multi-C-Class-ip backlinks and are syndicated far more widely and much faster.

If Alexa does not show up at this thread, then I conclude that she has given up on her valiant attempts to educate the masses about this question. And who could blame her? The search button is up top, white letters on a red background, third from the right.
