Hi, I recently received a google slap for a relatively new domain, which I thought was due too much back linking. I'm now wondering if the problem could also be due to ranking for a trademark name in the keywords I was targeting. My Niche was within health/fitness. I didn't have the trademark in the domain name but I was specifically targeting keywords that contained the trademark. Is that okay? As a silly example would it be okay to target keywords that contained the trademark name e.g for 'Hoover'; Hoover washing machine, hoover vacuum etc. Or could ranking well for keywords containing a trademark cause a google slap? |

well there are many warriors who target trademark names for their keywords and never heard of it getting slapped by google. Alot of people are doing product reviews thus they have to use the brand name in their keyword so I am sure it is not due to this reason.
